HISTORY
Ladprao General Hospital was established over ten years ago and enjoys an enviable reputation in the community.


Realizing the importance of a quality education in the development of Thai and global society, especially the impact of the rapid changes in science and technology on our world, the Hospital, in compliance with the 2001 Education Act, which aims to ensure that Thai education complies with international standards, established “Ladprao Kindergarten School” on September 9, 2000 under the legal identity of “Ladprao Education Co.,Ltd.


In order to comply with the wishes of parents that their children not only receive an education which aims to develop their intellectual, physical, social, emotional and cultural needs, but that they do so in a bilingual environment, it was decided that course instruction would be in Thai and English.


The school started with two classes: the two to three years old and the three to four years old comprised of 23 and 24 children respectively. The first enrollment was in the second term of the year 2001.


The school was officially opened on February 14, 2002 by Honorary Prof. Dr. Kasem Wattanachai, the privy councillor.


In 2003, the school was renamed “Ladprao Bilingual School” and duly relicensed. At the same time planning began to extend the curriculum into the primary school area up to P6. The plan includes the accommodation of the primary school in a purpose built teaching block adjacent to the Kindergarten complex. The primary building was officially opened by Honourary Prof. Dr. Kasem Wattanachai, the privy councilor on June 17, 2005.

VISION
LBS will be a small world full of warmth and security. It will be a learning community in which children live happily together. LBS’s goal is to create an environment in which students will learn happlily and will develop physically, emotionally and mentally according to their age levels. Through our structured curriculum , LBS students will develop creativity, imagination and self confidence. They will become independent, intellectual, act morally, as well as develop excellent social skills--all significant traits required for further education.
MISSION
Mission 1 Students will develop to their fullest extent through a well designed
                curriculum based on the school’s philosophy.
Mission 2 Students will enjoy good health and be nurtured in a safe and clean
                environment.
Mission 3 A good relationship between home, school and the community will be
                established.
Mission 4 School staff will be developed to the best professional standards.
Mission 5 To develop and administer Information Technology (IT) and school
                management to the optimal standard.
GOAL
1. To have a good management and well structured organization.
2. To organize and administer school using Information Technology and various
    kinds of multimedia.
3. To establish child-centred education.
4. To enable students to communicate in English appropriate to their age levels.
5. To enable students to use Thai language, their mother tongue, properly and
    efficiently.
6. To develop each individual child to his/her highest potential in all aspects.
7. To enable teachers to work competently to reach the highest professional
    standards.
8. To enable teachers to be motivated and inspired to work to their highest
    potential.
9. To enable teachers to develop a professional etiquette.
10. To provide students wilh good learning environments both inside and outside
      the classroom in order to enhance and develop all their learning skills.
11. The characteristics of LBS students will be in accordance with the
      characteristics of Thai students as defined by the Ministry of Education.
12. LBS Students will have characteristics as defined by the school.
13. Parents and the community will work cooperatively in the school’s educational
      management.
14. The School will serve as the community’s educational resource.
