EDUCATIONAL GOALS

Kindergarten levelThe school aims :1. To educate children in the early learning years in Bilingual Thai-English
curriculum in compliance with the Ministry of Education’s 2003 Education
Act with an emphasis on the individual ’s physical, mental, social and
intellectual development as appropriate to their age levels.2. To effectively accommodate the national demand for Bilingual
Thai-English curriculum as a solid foundation for advanced studies
and better communication.3. To provide various opportunities to the students so that they can develop
physically, emotionally,mentally, socially and intellectually to their
maximum potential prior to the primary level.4. To provide a hands-on experience with international teachers who are
native speakers via play and daily activities without neclecting the Thai
language and culture.5. To comply with parents’ wishes that their children obtain a high quality
education.Primary School LevelThe school aims :1. To provide education and to create the ideal student in accordance with
the 2001 Ministry of Education’s fundamental curriculum. The ideal
student is said to be a Thai with the potential to develop a good
character, be happy and intelligent.2. To provide an international child centred curriculum which includes
subjects taught in both English and Thai. LBS believes that every child
has a potential to learn and can be nurtured.3. To comply with social demand for a primary school whose vision is to
provide an education which will equip its students to take their place in a
rapidly changing world, in Thailand as well as internationally.4. To maintain Thai culture and tradition and to value Thai local wisdom,
through the learning of Thai language in accordance with the 2001
Ministry of Education’s fundamental curriculum.5. To prepare students so they will be competent English speakers, familiar
with the study of science, mathematics and technology in the English
venacular.
